Well it's kind of a computer question...

I'm looking for a pulse rate watch that has a countdown timer which only counts down when you're in the target pulse rate range. I can't seem to find one anywhere!

If you have one or know of one please can you tell me the make and model?

Thanks! :ok:

I believe that the ICD implants have this feature embedded in their chip.

It gives you a chance to to say Oh-no just before it shocks you

I have a Polar FT1 - the cheapest one - but some of their more expensive models (e.g. RS300X (http://www.polar.fi/en/products/improve_fitness/running_multisport/RS300X)) have Interval Training features that might do what you want. Interval Training means you have a program to make sure you do e.g. 5 minutes at ~80% of your max heart rate, then 10 minutes at ~60%, or whatever, and it will beep at you when you need to speed up or slow down.

edit: Timex also do HR monitors with interval training, and are a bit less expensive e.g. their Race Trainer range.

Oh, sorry, you meant the other sort of pulse monitor !

What sort of a computer question is that, you could have at least asked for one with a USB or bluetooth interface ?
