Well good for them but generally speaking lots and lots of changes will be happening in the coming days not just in Mauritius but the whole Indian ocean region. Now that ABu dhabi has taken over Air Seychelles, it is being said that in few years air seychelles will dominate the whole region. Dont be surprised if a Daily flight from Seychelles to MRU, REU is announced soon. Air Austral suspended the new SEY-PAR route (thats because if they ever did this routes they knew an A340-600 or a 777 from ABu dhabi would do the same just to remove them from this line) and soon ABu DHabi will get into the Mauritius market something which MK never wanted. Everyone's eyes are on Air seychelles now. MK must be doing something hard to consolidate Against Air Seychelles's future expansion, thus its no surprising at all to witness these changes.

If Quatar, does take over Air Mauritius, Flight Ops Mafia would be shivering with fear. The mafia is gonna pop up like a cork of a bottle of champagne. Banny and Co could see their position at risk shortly. I stongly believe it is the best thing ever that can happen to MK to be privatised and see more expats at management level which will give the company fresh air. We have got enough of these bull****.
Two is already gone, we need more to vacate.

Unfortunately they have not been sacked, they are still line Captains. They would deserve that......
