Not quite as simple as looking for a local Part 145 organisation - they need to be approved and have the capability to carry out whatever work is being asked for assuming that the work is for a component on an operational aircraft and not just a fancy desk barometer.

Have you tried asking around the local flying clubs? Other aircraft owners need to get their aircraft maintained so will know who can do stuff.

Have you tried going to the Light Aircraft Association? They have a pool of engineers/inspectors who will know who can do what and where.
