I have just dislocated my knee and for whatever reason I am now in plaster from ankle to thigh. I am meant to be flying with FR in a few weeks (not that bothered about trip so prob won't go anyway), been too lazy to search their terms and conditions but what is their policy regarding this as there is no way I can sit in one seat in the main seated section and I won;t be allowed to sit at emergency rows?

What would other airline's policy be on this eg BA long-haul as I was thinking of going to USA to visit my brother and for recouperation? Will they give me a free upgrade to business class flat bed lol?

Check with your doctor. There is a risk that, with the lower cabin pressure, your leg will be very uncomfortable in the cast. Although, for a short trip, less of a problem Possibly! Doctor's opinion needed.
