Just heard that this company has stopped flights to Spain and its B747 has been returned to Virgin, pilots are with out salary for 3 months is it true?? seems like is following the steps of former Major Airline LAB.

Is it a move from the goverment to take control of the aviation market in this south american country? or is that these companies where managed by incompetent and corrupted administrators ,that use profits to enrich their accounts with out paying taxes and salaries to its employees, Know that in the case of LAB the administration was involved in an iternational fraud between Brazil and Bolivia initiated by the VASP group, and latter on, the pilots union from LAB used it force to close the company, many pilots where left with out jobs, what happened to all these magnificient aviators, where are they now??and what is going to happen to pilots from Aero Sur, they must be also experienced... Not as the LAB pilots, wich I had the chance to evaluate during many line checks and simulator sessions .The skills of this pilots flying in High altitude Airports with only VORs and NDBs was amazing . For sure they will find jobs any were in the planet but what happens to ground staff, is the goverment taking care of them, or offer them another job?? or is going to be left on their own like the LAB workers.....bad news for the private Bolivian aviation industry.

Sad news....

I flew for LAB on a contract back in 2004-2005 really loved the country and people. I flew with some of the best pilots who remain great friends to this day---most of them went to the Middle East.

Good luck to the Bolivianos!

VIVA SANTA CRUZ! :ok:
