Hi There!
I am a woman living in Germany near Laarbruch!
My interestets are the history of Bruggen, Laarbruch, Wildenrath and Gutersloh!
I´m looking for people who served there and are familiar with the station!
I have a lot of phots from after the closure of Laarbruch and have a lot of questions about some buildings!
I am also interested in living on the base incl. any phtos of the active times and all aircraft.
If anyone is interested to tell me his story or has photos or simply wants to help me to find out something about the buildings / stations, please send a Mail to:
[email protected]
or post something in the forum.
I tried facebook already, but most of the people only send 1-2 Mails and then don´t write back.

My english is not that best, please excuse me!

king regards
Steff

@ Tiger_Mate:

Yes, very interesting book!
I translated almost half of it!
About Bruggen there is a book, too: The RAF Bruggen in war and peace
Is a book published about Wildenrath?

Gruß
Steffi

Do you know of Flugplatz Gutersloh 1937-87 by Gerry Lewis which I would highly recommend?
There are also a number of excellent articles on most RAF bases in Germany at The Airfield Research Group Site at
Airfield Research Group (ARG) (http://www.airfieldinformationexchange.org/community/forumdisplay.php?6-Airfield-Research-Group-(ARG))

Thank you very much for the link!
Yes, know the book very well!
There seem to be no books about Wildenrath, indeed...
Has anyone pics of the good old times?
Gruß
Steffi
