hi tejkang

i do not recommend you MSD if you are not Indian from India, I would choose somewhere else.. California aviation something and etc.... MSD will only give you a salary of 2000usd.. that is just basic... your salary..

the flight pay. (as i call it Commission) MSD keeps.. Thats a lot of money.. you are in a way work for nothing.. because lion will work you 110+hrs per month. and you are on a three years contract. that a lot of money.. I know people will say.. "I dont care I here to gain hours.." true for the first few 100 hrs. then reality will sink in.. Cr$p i need the money... because your collegues are earn double your salary.

Wise up people... eaglejet, california aviation, FLYGOSH are better than MSD...

There are also some delays with MSD.. the reason the delays is the excessive students and there not enough training instructors.

With California aviation is run by a Lion management pilot..

Honestly it worth waiting for.. dont jump into something, otherwise you gonna be a angry pilot. for the next 3 years. that if you dont leave before then.

MSD are keeping over 2000+usd FROM YOU per month.. most pilot here earn over 4000+usd not the best salary as a FO. but 2000usd thats slave labour..YOu will go to WORK a angry pilot.. everyday..feel being used...
Lion work 6 days off/ 1day off..and fly over 110+ per month.

HAve you talked with FLyGosh. Aleast with him you EARN FULL SALARY..

WHY ARE YOU FLYING for NOTHING. ITs worst than EAGLEJET.

ok buddy when u compare cali aviation to eagle jet,you will notice that falcon is better due to the contract(500h line training plus 2 years coontract) compare it to eagle jet(500h plus 4 years) you dont need that much of a time in Jakarta
29,5K usd with falcon aviation compare to 40k usd with eagle jet
no base training fees with falcon,no certifications required (tcas, rvsm etc...its include in the conversion package) and the most important things....waiting time
every 2 Months for falcon, 6 months minimum for eagle jet....
caflocn aviation email is [email protected]

one last thing that i forgot to mention...the salary:E:E:E:E:E
since you will be flying for lion air, expect at least 110 to 120h every month and since 70 to 90h will be shown on your logbook, the rest of the hours are flown just for the dow...
2000 to 2600 usd for eagle jet i dont know if its just a basic salary, but with falcon aviation its 4000 to 4800 if you have overtime thats what is mention on the program detail that i got from them...!its kinda weird i was asking myself the same questions why that much???? JETJOCKEY696 clarified it!!!!!!!!
so guys once again dont rush for any kind of contract take ur time to look for a good P2F program before putting all your money on it!!!!

I think you will find that the waiting time at CFA is longer than 2 months, at the moment its 6 months.

Also with CFA and MSD you will not be doing 2 years as you will have sign a new contract with lion when you have completed the "line training".

After your 500 hrs you could sign the 4 year contract or you could carry on working for free.

If you choose to carry on working for free then they will get rid of you.

BTW guys if you do decide to break the contract then you will have to pay $50,000 and they wont give you the release letter.

So if you do fancy flying over there, then consider staying there for 5 years.

BTW the two check rides one with the company and the other one with DGCA is quite tough.

So make sure you guys spend good few weeks going over the SOP's.

Happy Landings!! :ok:

I sent my CV to Lion Air in december and they answer basically that if I would like a job with them I will have to contact the agencies (eagle and california).

I been trying to tell you all this...for a long time... LION IS NOT TAKING DIRECT HIRE... save your time by not sending cv to Lion... you have to go through the proper channels... PAY UP channel.. why take direct hire.. when people will pay.:ok:

nothing for free... IF you are a TRI or TRE... go through a agency.. than direct hire. because the benefits, conditions and SALARY will be better and higher. that's my only advice... dont be bit*h about it later here that you been rip off..

By the way ... Sriwijaya airlines are looking for crew..... through Sigma for CAPT and FO.. NO PAY IS NEEDED..
