For those still planning to join Air China because of the European bases on offer :

Air China just informed its pilots based in Milano MXP that their base will be closed in April . One has just started there and two others quit Emirates and Etihad because they were promised MXP.

Interestingly the leasing companies still promise Frankfurt to everyone despite the fact that FRA was closed and all Airbus pilots told to move several months ago when the B777 took over the route
Do you really want to trust these people with your future ???

Thanks for the "old" repeating news.... Never trust a Chinese operator in anything. What do I care about my word from yesterday?? is common there.

To protect your destiny stay away if you can and if yóu cannot keep looking.

they were promised - trust these people

Promised and trust are words you could never associate with any Chinese airline, particularly Air China. Of all the pigs feet eating, slurping, nose picking, ass scratching, phlegm spitting, chain smoking (often all at the same time), nepotistic managers of Chinese airlines, Air China managers are the biggest liars of the bunch, skillfully assisted in their dishonesty by their partner recruiting agencies. Not content with these abhorrent characteristics, they falsify training records and steal salary from pilots who have left. China should be your very last option.

Anyone joining CA now from anywhere other than an unemployment queue has had plenty of warning. Those seeking their too good to be true A320 to 330 upgrade should be particularly concerned.

Operational base will be replaced with a caravan (in fact its been deleted from the 'improved' contract as base closures with minimal notice have given all concerned a lot of grief).

Doesn't sound like a lot of fun or honesty at Air China then!?

What agencies are they working with? I see a certain Flightcrew Ressources International (FRI) in Flightglobal. Who are they? Are they as trustworthy as Air China's base policy?
