I don´t know if Mr. McCauley has changed the ways of his company but they were at one time known for some pretty uncomfortable decision making.

Some previous employees stories are rather eye-opening.

So you put up an article to try and put down McCauley and his thriving company. When it clearly says that no problems were found with the fuel and the black box showed no defects. I work for the repair station of UJA. I hear how crappy Gulfstream is and how much bombardier sucks to work for. Everybody talks crap about every shop. Just cause you "heard something" doesn't mean what you hear is always right

It was not just gossip, it was someone pretty high in the UJA set up. I don´t post just to create a stir.

Two very bad incidents coupled with someone´s knowledge of the inside set up, I was also very careful to say this was previous form.

I remember when this happened. I can't find the NTSB now but remember it having an FAA check airmen on board conducting a check ride and the check airmen did an actual V1 engine failure, by pulling the throttle to idle.

If I read the news correctly the Prince flew to the USA scheduled then due to delays ended up chartering to make his pre arranged appointments, despite his original intentions being to continue on a scheduled service.

Aircraft and operator are on the royal approval list, and the nominated flight crewa are, to be advised, and approved. BUT not certain if actual vetting takes place.

I know UK Special Branch have an interest in the operator and crew.

Been there, got the T shirt.

Non UK operators are very common, to eliminate excessive positioning.

HRH was looking to by a G550 for the family, not certain what happened.
