HI

Does Anybody know if any airlines run a cadetship from 16 covering PPL to CPL, I heard from somebody that BA runs a cadetship at Prestwick is that correct if so has any body got any details for it

I don't think there will be anyone.

Although you can make a solo flight at 16, you cannot get your PPL issued until you are 17. Therefore CPL issue or even enrolement on an ATPL theory course is well out.

However, at 16 the RAF could sponsor you for a sixth form scholarship. Look at the RAF site for more details.

If you like the idea of a light blue uniform and only flying when it is sunny! :)

There are none. Go gliding at ATC and go instructing. Get RAF 6th form scholarship and do those A-Levels. Have fun while you're young and don't be too overkeen to get a licence at your stage.

I was in a similar postiton to G-WHRH trying to get sponsored at 16. Wasn`t successful, couldn`t wait, so I started ATPL ground school course at 17. Half way through my groundschool course I was sponsored, so it`s possible at 17.
