My Spanish friends,
First of all I would like to apologize for not writing in spanish. Eventhough I am a portuguese citizen I would prefer to write in English as I am afraid I would offend you all by trying to write in spanish... :-)
Is there any kind of program for a person without the money it takes to become an ATP? Is there in Spain any Airline that gets you through the licenses?
Cheers,

No !!!!!!! There´s only private schools !!
I´m certain about it too. I´m a spanish citizen working in Germany. I´ve been flying 737´s for three years now and even now it´s hard for me to get a job in Spain. It´s a tight market. Lots of young pilots ( More than 1000) with little experience looking for a job. If you haven´t started with your licenses yet I´d keep my hand off Spain.
Happy Landings
Tell me onething... Is there any market world or Europewide for an ex-military pilot.
I am thinking of joining the Portuguese Air Force, but I would like to first relaize if there is any kind of Job prospects for ex-militay pilots. Can you enlighten me about that?
What about the job market in Germany is it any good? Is there any space for new pilots?
I considering the position as military pilot which will allow me to, in 7 years time, to have logged circa 2,500 hours...(at least). Can I dream of getting a job after that or is it bad for ex-militaries?
Cheers,

Of course there is a chance for ex-military pilots. There´s a lot of them flying in my company ( in germany ).
If its OK for you to join the military ( for me it wasn´t) then I´d go for it. You get good, very good training.
The job market in Germany is OK (was much better 3 years ago) but there´s still chances of getting a job. You have to speak perfect German !!!!!
There´s a couple of Airlines that do get you through your licenses: British Airways, Lufthansa, Crossair...... ask around.
Happy landings
El gobierno socialista eliminó el programa de becas para formación de pilotos en Iberia hace ya por lo menos unos 10 años.
Saludos.
