hello all,

i'm desperate to find some work in spain as my other half is from there. presently hold a UK ATPL & just under 3000 hrs, flying turbo-props for a regional carrier in uk. what are my chances of finding work in spain? many thanks.

I wish you luck, I'd like to find some work in Spain myself...doesn't look too good. Airlines normally put an add in the papers and then the selection process can be very very slow...I haven't seen anyone even advertising these days! Sorry! Well, one day, or if we make the right connections, we might get lucky...sending CVs doesn't help either, they never keep them on file. Good luck!

Got a call from my Ol' Boy in Valencia at the weekend. If you log on to WWW.spanair.es (http://WWW.spanair.es) you will find an on-line application form. they are seeking pilots now! In the bottom right hand of the main page you will see a little box which says 'site map'. Click on this and look for 'trabajo', hey presto! you're in.
