"Theoretical" Class 1 Med - Without actually having Class 1 Med!

Hi guys,

I've been searching through the forums but haven't yet found what I've been looking for, that being information on where I could have a medical examination comparative to the JAR Class 1, but without going to Gatwick and actually having the real thing.

I would like to get all the preliminaries out of the way such as eye test, medical exam etc so that I know whether or not it is worth me pursuing my dream of flying :D

Why don't you make an appointment with an aeromedical examiner in your area and ask for private consultation?

However, if you don't have any medical issues, I would really consider going for the real thing right away. If you are healthy and in reasonably good shape chances you will get a class 1 medical are pretty good.
