Looks "well" off piste & rather close to tree felling too. :eek:

On the face of it , looks like a lucky escape, depending on their speed when they hit the unploughed snow-bank the company claims was on the runway.

400-500m in snow & freezing fog wouldn't have helped them identify it in the unremitting grey/white.

The videos in the link of post #1 are quite tasteless, people on strechers getting taken care of by paramedics.
Just the kind of journalism I really hate.

They do not even show the aircraft or the surroundings, just attention getting at the cost of somebody elses privacy.
