Reading that a new airport to replace the heavily constrained Mariscal Sucre was scheduled to open last year. Obviously it hasn't done so.
Any news?

The owners of the dwellings surrounding the existing Mariscal Sucre airport will be pleased.After the move,the plans are for the old airport site to be turned into an aquatic park.
