Dear all,
I want to have a trial flight. I contacted Aviation Club, they said they have already fully booked ant not able to offer a slot for non member. Where is the nearest place that I could go?
Thanks.

Philippines is probably the best place closest to HKG.

i would suggest Australia if it's within yr budget,
the quality of instructor and aircraft should be much better~

In fact, there is another constraint. It should be near HK cause I dont have many days for that. may be 3-4 days. So I am looking for somewhere near. Do we have flying school in Taiwan, Thailand, singapore? or India, indonesia. Are they good?
Thanks

There're several flying schools in Malaysia, but these are the ones with better reputations:
The Malaysian Flying Academy, Professional Flight Training, Malacca, Malaysia (http://mfa.edu.my/)
HM Aerospace Sdn Bhd (http://www.hmaerospace.com/)
Asia Pacific Flight Training - Home (http://www.apft.edu.my/)

There are also quite a few aviation clubs I've come across in India, I'm in the same position as you however as I am a student my parents insist if I want to do my PPL, I do it in Hong Kong at the HKAC.

Do u think flying schools there are up to standard? eg. English proficiency. Is there any good flying school recommended? Thanks

lol man, guess what, it seems you are seeking for a tourist trial flight fun instead of being a pilot.
if you are really into the passion side, you wont even frigging care about the tour stuff.
i got my hours right away in Oz and no tourism stuff included during the time.
think clear about what you are doing, or I will say you can never ever get into CX CPP for such your effort, kid.

Philippines is a not a bad place to learn how to fly.
Its all about you. not the school not the books and certainly not the country.

I think its harder to learn in HKG consider the density altitude, the air traffic, unless of course you train in a turbofan aircraft and land all day at kai tak.. that's an awesome training.

Grob mind telling me how long it took you for the licensing you underwent & the cost(s) associated, thanks.

The only issues with training in hong kong are visibility and aircraft availablity.
