Hi Everyone,

I have completed the JAA ATPL theory exams (passed :x ) and I hold a FAA ATP, with over 1500 hours turbine and over 500 in type ( I have a SIC rating on the CRJ series). My question is has anyone got any idea as to what the cost comes to for doing the training required and the skills test in a simulator? I know it varies from person to person but a rough idea and or a reference to a school that provide such training would be great.

I am between going back to props (tedious and very costly) and the sim so any info would be great... Im just a poor FAA pilot trying to get to the currently perceived greener side of the fence!!

Thanks!

I would suggest you check how long you have left to do this. JAA will soon be gone and it will be EASA. The plan was April for the change over but I think it has slipped to July. Once the date arrives I don't know if you can carry on or if you have to start again at the beginning with EASA
The CAA web site lasers section will help,(if you can follow it)
