hi all,

there is a rumor circulating that Arik air is recruiting 737ng FO's with a salary that is too good to b true. ( 5k per month ). does anyone has any info on this ? knowing the past reputation of Arik, its hard to take such rumors seriously but its worth digging a bit more. insider information is highly appreciated. thanks !!!

i read that thread and i have a good picture of Arik. i m not sure but it looks like the delay of the pay day is not becoming shorter.

anyone else who can conform the vacancy pls ? i will b making a risky move of leaving a job that pays though not as good as Arik.

Wake up and smell the coffee man! You have asked and answered your own question.
If after reading the payday at Arik thread you still consider going there then you are either brain dead or on the run from the law.

Hello guys,

I am not trying to start a debate but are you sure that 5000US$/month for a B737 Fo is a good salary?

$5000 a month to come and live in a seething pit of crime and disease staying in some of the worst hotels you have ever experienced and eating food so bad you`ll be taking your arse for a piss on a daily basis...:ok:

Some time back, in fact 10 years ago, that was the pay flying a 404 in Nigeria. Thats not even stagnation, thats a regression in pay over the last decade!

You get Beech 1900 jobs that pay better in less unpleasant areas of the world.

ok thanks, that's what I thought. I'm a very low time pilot flying as a B200 copilot and I almost make that.

12 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF :yuk:

What are they smoking ? ?

I was flying a crappy DC-9 in Africa, in better locations than Lagos, and got $5500+ for that...but it was not a commuting contract.
