Anyone knows something about ARIK? Are they reliable?

You mean Arikair in Nigeria? then look into the African Forum, Payday at Arikair says it all. I could prevent myself to go a while ago and was rewarded with not getting screwed as the B777 deal failed in itself.

Arik Air, Nigeria - about as reliable as an Italian cruise ship Captain, but with less bravado.

There are two operations: The domestic one which is purely African, and the A345 which is operated by HiFly, Portugal. The later one works like a Swiss Watch.

I have been flying routes to Africa, including Lagos, for 27 years. It is implausible in the extreme to suggest that any airline conducting an operation associated with Nigeria, would "work like a Swiss watch" - a fake reproduction from a Bangkok market, maybe.

Sure.... Arik Air operates like a Swiss watch... but without the innards:}.

Maybe more like a Swiss cheese?

The operation like Denti told is operated by Hifly!

And it is this operation who runs quite remarkable. Nothing to do with the Domestic operation. Two different worlds!

Nigeria must be a challenging place! Are they recruiting pilots now?

HiFly is not able to operate like a Swiss watch. Not like the Swiss watches I know, at least...

well, biggest delay is always out of LHR and JFK...

Hotel is the same like any other major airline used in Lagos.
