CBS, CNN and other news services are reporting a helicopter down in Helmand, around midnight local time (19th Jan)
There are said to be six fatalities. No information given on nationality of aircraft or crew

Sadly, true. I've flown a number of times, throughout the AO, with the MAW in both CH53s and V-22s over the past 10 months and actually caught a CH53 up to and back from Kajaki yesterday. That said, the turnout for the Dignified Transfer tonight was one of the biggest I've seen for fallen USMC partners, and believe me, I've been to a lot in a short period of time.
