With hopes to gain my initial Class 1 Medical soon, I am confused as if there is a difference in the JAR and the CAA Class 1's?

As the CAA Aeromedical Centre at Gatwick offer both a JAR and UK CAA Class 1 medical, I'm still not sure which to chose from, and whether there may be a difference in the ability of the two? e.g. will the UK CAA not certify you medically in certain situations, or flying for a non-UK airline (RYR for example)

Thanks for your support and answers in advance!

As far as I knew Gatwick only did JAR Class 1 and 2 in compliance with JAR - FCL3

Didn't think there was any CAA specific additions... in fact things like EEG have been dropped from the Class 1 due to JAR. EASA will change things further again, the point of JAR and EASA being to unify national safety standards.
