Nyanställd SAS-Vilken flygplanstyp?

Hej!

Jag har en fråga som jag hoppas att någon insatt SAS pilot kan svara på. Vilken flygplanstyp är aktuell för en nyanställd pilot i "Airlines" med bas i CPH? Är det B737 som gäller eller är det MD?

You´d be most likely to go onto the 737, as by far the most newhires have been put onto that one (because very very few of the older pilots placed a bid for 737).
But as said before; with the tremendous amount of training to be done, starting with the new Airbuses, a bunch of MD pilots will leave for the Airbus, leaving vacant seats on the MD80. So........it could be either one. Great answer, wasn´t it :o
I can promise you one thing, nobody in SAS mgmt. know either. :)

I suspected that the 737 was the safest bet, but I think I´d prefer the MD if I had the choice...

I would have to go for the 737 NG. Very nice cockpit (big screens, GPS etc), BIG engines.
And....Since I lost my hearing I don't have to listen to all the harrasment from the MD-guys anymore.

I agree that the 737 NG has quite massive engines and a superb cockpit. What is beeing done about the noise though? Is it as bad as they say?
