Hi! I've been having problems with pain in the side of my head, seeming to originate inside my right ear, accompanied by crackling. The doc has organised an mri scan and an examination by an ENT specialist, both showing no problems, and my hearing is not affected. This is good news and I know I'm very lucky, but also very frustrated as it's been going on since May and I'm no closer to finding relief. The doc has suggested that he could try one of two drugs,PREGABALIN or GABAPENTIN,both used primarily for epilepsy but also good for neuralgic pain.I want to know whether these drugs are allowed by the CAA.I know that I can,and probably will, call them up and ask,but was just wondering if anyone can throw any light on this before I take it any further. Many thanks in advance.
Cheers!
