Cataract Operation

Please can anyone tell me the current UK CAA regs regarding returning to/maintaining flying medical cat post a cataract op?

I posted a reply to your question in Jet Blast but will repeat it here with a bit more info.
Six weeks then your Medical can be restored subject to a satisfactory post-op report.
The staff in the CAA's Medical Dept are very helpful people and that was what they told me before I had one done. It was also suggested that I should inform them after the op in case it was postponed for any reason.

It's been absolutely fine thank you. There is really nothing to worry about. Just follow your Consultant's advice and you should be fine. All the best for when you have it done. :)
