According to a press release given by SAS's G. Reitan on November 20., the buying up deal in BU is now in the final stage:

Information regarding SAS potential acquisition of Braathens

SAS entered into an agreement with Braathens` principal
shareholders, Braganza, Bramora and KLM, on May 21, 2001 to
acquire their shares in Braathens and to launch a tender
offer for the shares held by the minority shareholders. In
order to inform the market about the timing of the
potential tender offer, the parties wish to relay the
following:

Following a review of the various closing conditions set
out in the agreement, negotiations are taking place between
the principal shareholders of Braathens and SAS and between
Braathens and the lessors from whom Braathens lease
aircraft, in order to find satisfactory solutions that will
enable SAS to complete an acquisition of Braathens.
The aim is to find such solutions by Friday November 23,
2001. If this timetable is met, the launch of a tender
offer could take place on Tuesday November 27, 2001.

Since negotiations are taking place, the parties regret
that no further information can be given until the
negotiations have been completed.
