But thought Carolyn Grace's letter in Flypast was way over the top in criticising that magazine's line in a previous issue

They are just a bit of fun, but maybe they went over the top naming them as 'Supermarine Spitfires'...since they are neither....:p

Well.....

The Australian company Supermarine Aircraft has been producing their MK26B -90% kits for some years.

G'Day All

Watched the video and saw it was shot at my home base of Watts Bridge Queensland, Australia. I have seenthe various models of these aeroplanes develop over time since 1992 and now they are a truely great aeroplane, I think the scale is about 90% and with the V8 power which I think is about around 400 hp, they really perform.

cheers

Has anyone actually flown the Mk26B Kit Spit? It looks like a whole lot of fun and a great replica with lots of potential.... Before investing I want to chat with any pilots that have actually put one through its paces... Cheers
