Looks like Jet2 have won a big chunk of the battle for UK-Girona for now. Ryanair have pulled the following routes from sale (all routes where Jet2 compete)
Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Newcastle

To allow discussion to include Jet2 at Girona as well as anything regional (eg impact of Barcelona) which might be pertinent and avoid the main Ryanair thread going significantly off topic
