Hello all,

I would like to introduce myseft, my name is Marco and I am living and working in UK. I am 34 years old and I am an IT Director.

I would like to ask for a small help from your part to try to understand if I have a strong opportunity to become an Airplane Pilot in the near future.

For a long long time I am dreaming to become an Airplane Pilot but I didn’t have the courage to do the first step but at the moment I think I am ready to do it, but I would like to have some information regarding this area, because as you understand I am very very new on this.

I don’t have any qualification at the moment but I am willing to pay to have the CPL and more and also the hours to be able and full quality to fly.

I would like to ask your advice from you.

I will wait for your replay.

I would spend some time researching the "stickies" at the top of this forum.

Questions to ask yourself.

Can I pass the medical? (e.g. diabetes, eye sight, colour blindness etc)
Do I want to train full time or part time? (i.e. integrated or modular)
Do I like flying? Have I had a trial lesson?
Where do I want to work? Europe/Asia/Africa/USA
Do I understand the job market for low houred pilots?

All this and more can be found within this site.

Good luck.

Where do I want to work? Europe/Asia/Africa/USA

More importantly where am I eligible to live and work...
If he is from Portugal, Europe would be fine but the USA may be more problematic.
