Hi, I've read all the past threads and wondered if any current pilots could let me know what's going on there, ppjn mentions growth and a pay update (base 5000E for Captains?) How much is per-diem? Good place to work or not?

Thanks

Dear gentlemen,

nothing is or will be changed in ij/jetair so far.

Management is changing for several years in all key positions except M.S..

The company is full of lies spread by Mr. Ab.d and his watchdog Mr. Esten... and M.S..

As you may seen they looking for a lot of guys in any position including CFO.

Questioning yourself why...

The CFO resigned because he was sick of telling lies to employees and picked up a lot of curious financial transactions.

If you need more infos PM.

Dear Imperial, dear all,

Let me start to wish this Forum and its readers a happy new year with best of health for you and your families. For the ones, who are joining one of the imperial threats the first time, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Martin Spiegl and I am the Managing Director and Accountable Manager of Jetair Flug GmbH, which got recently renamed into ImperialJet Europe GmbH to show our close ties with ImperialJet Middle East.

Imperial, you have commented on our company with various allegations.
I will answer all your statements line by line:

"nothing is or will be changed in ij/jetair so far" - We have changed, and we will always change. If a company stops to change and improve, then it is a sign of worry. We have recently received a brandnew CL 605 in our corporate livery, it was enrolled in our German AOC in December 2011. Also, we have introduced a 15 / 15 roster for our flight crews. So, there is change and progress at our company.

"Management is changing for several years in all key positions except M.S" - Business Aviation is one of the very few areas in business, whereby it is normal to hop the job. A CV with 5 employers in 5 years is considered normal. So, changing management, especially ones which are non-performers, does not mean that this is something bad for the rest of the employees.

"The company is full of lies spread by Mr. Ab.d and his watchdog Mr. Esten... and M.S.." - This is a very unspecified statement, please provide further facts, I am happy to discuss them with you here in public.

"As you may seen they looking for a lot of guys in any position including CFO" - Yes, because we are expanding our business and are opening new stations. To be specific we are looking for the following currently: Deputy Director of Operations, Group Sales Manager, Group Customer Service & Inflight Services Manager, Group CFO and last but not least Pilots and First Officers for our increased fleet.

"Questioning yourself why..." - Developing a company is always done in stages, such evolution will change the structure and increase the overhead to control all locations and functions. This is what is being done currently in our company. In the past there was no need for the "Group" functions, but now with more than 2 locations soon on different continents soon, such structure becomes necessary.

"The CFO resigned because he was sick of telling lies to employees and picked up a lot of curious financial transactions." - I have to disagree on this. The Exit of the CFO was handled from both sides very professional and there was a clear understanding from both sides, that the CFO is looking actively for another position, which he found in a company, which calls themself a competitor, but which they are not, taking objectively their structure and fleet into consideration. Regarding the curious financial transactions, please give more details, I would like to comment on them to give everybody the possibility of an objective opinion.

"If you need more infos PM." - This shows again, that such person wants only to defame our company. Hiding behind a screenname, asking for PM and not giving details, being a new joiner on Pprune. This says it all.

If anybody has some questions on above, please put them here or send me an email. In my past posts, I have mentioned my company email quite a couple of times.

Thank you.

Martin Spiegl

I have no knowledge nor opinion about Imperial but again applaud Martin for coming out here. So "Imperial" rise up to the challenge and come up with some questions. I will bring the popcorn out! :D

Stop that with your Popcorn!:oh: Please.
Its serious Talk ,not a Gladiator Game which brings Coins.

For those involved in this Topic I guess its tough to answer as open as Mr.Martin is doing.

Then again ,time changes behaviour ,so maybe we just let it settle and start the new year in a good manner and hope the best for those involved .

Its THE Fischmeister !!

You know guys, I must agree!! Not many people in this forum have the courage Martin has, to come out openly, introduce himself professionally and discuss varies topics out in the open.
I wish more people would do this. After all, everybody, including myself hides behind an alias. Perhaps it would finally stop some of the whining and complaining about any little thing, often unjustifiably!!

Hello,

As an employee of a former service provider for IJ I followed the various threads about them with interest. Especially when MartinSpiegl posted that if anybody felt that he/she didn't get paid and that something was still owed to him/her, he/she should contact him directly with full details, etc. How considerate of him, I agree.

The fact is that IJ owes a considerable amount of money to my employer, for about a year now, and still refuses to pay based on their claim that they had already paid "enough" and that the services were actually based on a flat fee, no matter how much time, effort and work was done for them. The fact that this allegation suddenly emerges at the end of the project and completely contradicts the terms of the written service offer fully accepted by IJ in the beginning obviously doesn't bother anyone over there.

Ironically, the customer satisfaction questionnaire filled by IJ at the end of the services is without a doubt laudatory. Generally speaking, would you think that a customer is satisfied when he takes the time to fill extra paperwork and send you a nice "thumbs up and thanks again for everything"? Well, perhaps wait until they pay every single invoice issued to him to confirm that the gratitude and consideration displayed is truly sincere.

Following MartinSpiegl's offer, my employer sent him the details he requested. Guess what, there has never been a single answer. Out of curiosity, has anybody else followed his advice and only received a deafening silence in return?

(this is probably the time when regrets and complains about whimsical e-mail servers and overly paranoid spam filters will enter the stage)

Dear Stratocaster,

I am impressed by your cynical wordings in your post and your in-deepth knowlegde of our IT system.

I can assure you, that our IT and Email System, which includes our SPAM Filter works flawless. I will not make any excuse but allow me to decide on which emails I am answering. Your emails got answered always by all departsment in our company except me, because you have always asked the same question and you always got the same answer.

We have engaged your Services by a signed service offer and paid for it in advance. I guess we dont disagree on this.

In your service offer, you are putting under article 4 an estimation of 8 man days for your services. Let me ask the audience in this forum how much deviation they would accept if a crafts man would make them an offer on an estimation and afterwards the bill has increased ? How much deviation would one accept ? I would be ok with anything up to 20 percent personally.

How can you come up with an increase of 100% ?
The 100% increase consist of 4 days manual review, of 1 day meeting and 3 days writing a report.

In the initial offer, we have paid for the report already (or did you write two reports ? we only have one report.). And the said report was estimated in the offer and paid in advance with 1 man day. How is it possible that the second report which we dont have is taking 3 days ?

The manual review was not part of the breakdown in your estimations in your service offer. I would have expected that it will be contained there if it is charged. If the amount needed increases then by 20%, I dont mind. But it should have been initially in your service offer, which it was not.

We do not deny the meeting day and are ready to settle this if we reach agreement on all other points.

So your 10k EUR owed have melted down to 1280 EUR.

Let me comment on your allegation that nobody communicates with you. We have repeatedly answered your emails and on the 05th of May our Bill Control Department has notified you that your charges are not in line with the contract and we are not in a position to settle.

The reasons I have been naming here, have been communicated to you a couple of times, and I regret to inform you that our position will not change on this unless we stay reasonable.

What I can offer you, is that we settle the additional meeting day, provided you credit the invoice as explained above and that we work with Fix fees in the future. We would be ready to start a new project with you on clear terms and agreements to avoid such issues in the future.

Let me know your decision.

Best regards,

Martin Spiegl

Dear MartinSpiegl,

Thanks for taking the time. Would you also have the kindness to copy-paste your personal analysis into an e-mail and send it as a reply to the e-mail you received?

It seems unlikely that you'd have a very nice day if the impromptu Q&A session continued here, which would be unfortunate and probably in nobody's interest.

Hi All,

I have several people within Holland and Lux asking about the various flying and ground roles that seem to be available?

Are these based in BEY or MUC, and how does this effect FPL, JAR-OPS, AOC conditions. Would you say that the perform well like European AOC holder, we would expect this is the case.

Thoughts are welcome,

Hartelijk dank voor enige werkelijke kennis of begeleiding, :)

I also noticed their vacancies.
I therefore expressed my interest directly to mr. Spiegl via PPRuNe, no response.
My next move was to apply through Aviationjobsearch a while ago, zilch again.
My interest was in one of the ground based positions, wonder if they really exist.
