Hi guys

Just posted in the liver function thread and have one more question, I was put on Nitrazepam for 2 weeks to help me sleep (I'm not flying at this time.)but I have been told you cant use this medication and fly as cabin crew,
Is zopiclone approved for short term sleeping problems?

As that is what my GP has suggested as an different pill to take when needed.

Thanks for your help,

Although zopiclone is not a benzodiazepine, it works on the same receptor. Its effects can last much longer than 12 hours and include drowsiness and loss of coordination. Side effects include confusion, hallucinations, dizziness and amnesia

Regardless of what the CAA say I wouldnt letting anyone fly on it

Sorry
