quick question for those who have dealt with the DGCA.
Does DGCA accept attested copies of class XII transcripts or do they want originals?

Buddy, it depends on what you're applying for.

For the computer number - attested copies of school certificates will do.

For converting your licence - Original and attested copies are to be submitted.
