it gives me immense pleasure to announce that Lyle Prouse (http://lyleprouse.com/About.html), of Northwest Airlines, has recently published his memoirs, "Final Approach (http://lyleprouse.com/)". This includes his childhood, his military career and that fateful day - when he was imprisoned for flying under the influence of alcohol.
This, Final Approach (http://lyleprouse.com/), is the story of Lyle's redemption when he was reinstated as a pilot by Northwest Airline, and finally retiring honourably as a 747 captain.
Lyle has been sober for the past twenty one years. He continues to be involved with helping others overcome the scourge of alcoholism.
