From The West:
Pilot's forewarning
RONAN O'CONNELL
A Shelley pilot who crash-landed his plane at a Port Kennedy golf course yesterday says he yelled "fore" to the golfers below.
Bob Grimstead, 63, an experienced stunt pilot, said he had been concerned that the plane might hit someone as it landed on the driving range of the Links Kennedy Bay golf course.
Mr Grimstead said the motor of his Fournier RF4D light aircraft had cut out and he picked the golf course for an emergency landing. "The plane has an open cockpit so I just yelled 'fore' as loud as I could," he said.
No one was injured.
