I have been chasing both Jeppesen and Aspen about the possibility of having VRPs (as shown on the Jeppesen Half million Chart) depicted on the VFR chart on the Aspen MFD.
I have heard that Aspen Engineering and Product Management, confirm that the VRPs have been added to the Jepp database and we have added this feature to their product improvement list for consideration. They will evaluate the level of software changes required to add the VRPs to the MFD system and decide if the demand justifies the resources.
They have asked that I submit my request through the feedback channel, and by encouraging other Aspen MFD users to do the same, this will help them measure demand for this feature.
So if there are any other Aspen MFD users who read this and would like this facility may I ask them to submit their request as I have done.
