Hi there, I'm from South-East Asia Singapore and am interested in pursuing an fATPL licence. I understand that JAA licence is only applicable in Europe, the same for FAA over in the United States. I was wondering what licence is applicable then for Asia and the Middle east. As I'm planning to pursue my flight education abroad, I am looking at the possibility of the licence being useful in job applications in the future over in the Asia region and at the same time the ease of transiting and getting a work visa to work over at a foreign land. Flexibility would be a key issue hear. Would be great to get some inputs from those who have been there done that.
