Anyone knows this company?

Atlantic Aerospace (http://www.atlantic-aerospace.co.uk/)

I have recently replied to this company regarding an ad for self sponsored A320 TR+line training.
They replied and ask me to send all my documents etc together with application form to be forward to the Airline that will then decide if I'm approved or not.
Im a bit worried about sending all my details to a company that I have never heard about and only just started.

Furthermore
-I tried to call them a few times and they always busy and say that will call back but nothing.
-They not giving me a price for the trainning.
-their number Is in London( must be a operator services) and their office is in Manchester!?

They could be legitimate but I would rather be safe than sorry so...

I'm asking anyone out there to share their experience with this company please.

Many thanks guys!

I think you are going to have to do some self investigation here as I doubt you will get any useful feedback as that company appears to only recently have been formed. Their address seems to be in Media City Manchester (not Birmingham).

The fact that you have left messages and not had your calls returned and the lack of a price quote - may itself tell you all you need to know.

Once you have something factual - then by all means post it back here.

Hi,
I have experienced the same from the company. But to me, they didnt ask for any documents, but just the application and i send it was well and then no reply.
About the pricing, they jus ask for a deposit of 5000 pounds after you are selected for the interview
It would be great if you can pass any information you know about the company.

thanks

Same over here, they requested me to fill in an application form( an irrelevant application form if you ask me) but it still sounds like a scam to me. I hope I am wrong. Tried calling them a couple of times, and every time they promise me they will call me back but never do.

They want a £5000 deposit before you even attend a selection? Please do not send ANYTHING on that basis.

1 Lowry Plaza is a serviced office building where you can rent a room for as little as a day, or even a single meeting. This is the specialism of a business centre, short term letting to any chimp walking straight in off the street with no committments whatsoever...and no References required!

The switchboard phone number of the Lowry Plaza Business Centre is 0161.601.7700

Why not call and ask for Atlantic Aerospace? See what happens....

I would ask them why their phone number and given address are in different cities for a start.

Anyone else remember the stories of that Varsity Express idiot holding meetings at the London Gherkin just to impress little pilots who he was planning to scam with his fancy rented-by-the hour office?

Hold on to your wallets.

Thanks for all replies!

I called the the Lowry Plaza Business Centre on 01616017700 and asked to be transferred to Atlantic Aerospace but the receptionist said there was no answer and would pass on a message and they will ring me back.
I explained that this is the third time over the last few days I done that and they still not calling back or emailing.
I then tried to get any further information but I trully believe that the receptionist didn't know anything about this company at all.

Anyway I'm happy with the replies from this forum to make a personal decision of staying away from this company.:=

IM NOT IN ANY WAY SUGGESTING THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!
IM JUST NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY OPERATE THEIR BUSINESS...

I'm glad you have your answers and I'll close the thread before it gets 'adopted' by others.
