This has been a rollercoaster week for Kingfisher. News of last minute bank support and rumours of an Investor. Lessors are poised to repossess - rumours that one of them is taking aircraft back by "mutual consent."

Can they hold out? Are the fuel and maintenance bills being paid and are rumours of non payment to Mumbai Airport going to prove costly....

I hardly think so. They have financial problems but I seriously doubt they will close shop anytime soon.

Just like to quote from the Times of India of today.
When a Kingfisher in flight attendant was asked what the airline should do to ride out the crisis, she is reported to have said. " It is just like turbulence. Fasten your seat belt, sit tight and it will pass." I sincerely hope the airline is able to come out of its bad patch.
