A retired aircraft parked at an aircraft museum - how unusual!

HBS - why don't you ask the museum staff at Cosford to send you their regular news letter? It would help keep you up to date. :ok:

Out of curiosity, why does it need a crew of 7 to ferry a C130 just 102 miles? They can hardly claim it as a 25 minute 'Training Flight'....or can they?

Maybe it's what's commonly known as 'nostalgia'.

Luke, you need 2 pilots, one for the left wing, one for the right; 2 engineers, again one for the left engines, one for the right; 2 navigators, one for left turns, one for right; 1 loadmaster,in case you have to go backwards at any point, and to make the tea.....anyway how do you know they didn`t take the pretty route around Wales,N Scotland,Yorkshire,as you have to get your moneysworth out of the navigators....
