The latest Firefox appears awfully buggy in my opinion. It's a massive shame as I love its expandability and endless add-on functionality.

I was also getting endless crashes, especially when using high Java content sites such as flightradar24.com

Back to using Google Chrome now, and its going pretty well!

Been running Firefox 7.0.1 for some time without any issues.
When you say a "Java Plug-in" can you be a little more specific? Is this a Firefox plug-in - if so - which?

There is also a hit for this on Mozilla which suggests that it can be caused by the McAfee Site Advisor extension. If you are running that then disable it in the Add-on Manager tab.

Unless I am mistaken Flightradar24 does not require the Java runtime to be installed on the local machine (at least I do not run the Java runtime but can get into flightradar24 without any problem) .
Are you sure you are not confused it with Javascript?

I had issues with 7 and am back on 4. One major whinge is that banks etc are very slow to 'accredit'/'approve' the latest FFox and each time I have upgraded 50% have refused me access due to an 'unapproved browser' and I have had to resort to...yes, I admit it.... .
