Hi,

I am holding CPL Multi IR. I have been offered a job and they require Frozen ATPL. I have to hold the Frozen ATPL as soon as possible.

I was wondering if anyone can advise me how to finish the exams quickly.

Any Aviation Academies can fasten the process?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Which licensing authority?

That'll help "us" a lot.

I am holdin Canadian License. It does not matter where I get my Frozen ATPL from. I just need to pass the ATPL exam.

they require Frozen ATPL.

Well there's no such licence as a frozen ATPL.

What this actually is a JAA CPL ME IR with the ATPL theories passed.

Did the potential employer say that you need to pass the JAA ATPL exams?? Or the Canadian ATPL exam? because that could make a big difference.

BigGrecian, I do hold Canadian License CAA. I need to pass the theoritical ATPL exams only.

zondaracer, the employer wants me to pass the JAA ATPL theoritical exams.

I believe it takes around 6 months to a year to clear all 14 JAA ATPL exams :(

You believe wrong, my friend.

With hard work and dedication, they can comfortably be passed in 4 months, by a PPL qualified pilot (ie no commercial experience or theory / exams from other authorities.)

Someone who is already qualified CPL/IR and with commercial experience should be able to pass them more quickly.

So, back to the original question:-I was wondering if anyone can advise me how to finish the exams quickly.

Answer:- study hard and be dedicated to the task!

Pilotmike, do you recommend any academy?

If you're a wizard you can do them faster. Go and speak to Bristol Ground School. Alex Whittingham posts under his own name, give him a shout.

Many, many people recommend Bristol Groundschool. I have never heard anything negative about them - ever! Just positive recommendations.

Your location is 'Manama', which is Bahrain, so I presume travel to the UK for the brush-up courses and exams isn't a problem for you?

Keep away from Pearl roundabout, and give my regards to JJs and Coral Beach Club!

Good luck with your chosen route of study.

hehehehhehe I guess you were living in Bahrain right?

To be honest travelling to UK will be a bit expensive for me. I prefer somewhere near by but I do not know any Aviation Academies that provide ATPL courses.

I also recommend Bristol Groundschool. I finished in about 6 months time. A friend of mine finished in 5 months. If you have no distractions and absolutely dedicated, you could theoretically finish sooner.

zondaracer, It is good to hear that you finished your ATPL in just 6 months.

My time is so limited so I have to concetrate on the important study materials.

do you think studying from the Progress Tests is good enough to pass the exams?
