FAA 90 day recency

Hi all, I have always been of the opinion that both crewmembers of a 2 crew aircraft had to have the 3 take off and landings within the previous three months, I have now been told that this only aplies to the PIC. I have searched and it would seem to be true, can anyone confirm.

That's correct. For FAA, PIC requires the 3 t/o and landings in 90 days (FAR 61.57), and SIC only requires 3 t/o and landings in 12 months (FAR 61.55)

Thanks for that, I rarely fly SIC and assumed, wrongly, that it was the same as I was used to.
