Quote from Mr Alan Joyce from news.com.au regarding the pay dispute with the Qantas Pilots and management;

“If Qantas were to agree to this claim it would drive up airfares for our customers and risk the jobs of other employees within*Qantas."

REALLY mr joyce? Really? So paying the Qantas Pilots more means an increase in airfares???

Really? so if this Qantas asian carrier idea goes ahead and their pilots get paid less that means there will be a REDUCTION in airfares?

And I guess his enormous pay packet and pay rises have no effect.

If that was true Mr Joyce. Pax would be paying 40% less every time they stepped aboard a Jitconnect flight. After all your happy to pay those pilots 40% less than Qantas mainline.

Pretty sure your happy to slug them 100% Qantas mainline prices thou!

Guess you've got to fund your 70% pay rise somehow. :eek:

More BS from the fountain of it!

It seems Jetstar is paying it's A330 Pilots more than Qantas A330 Pilots so where does that leave the argument?:hmm:

And: the Qantas Captains are not on reduced hours by choice.:*
[F/Os and S/Os on max hours due S/O shortage!:E]
