Hi
When I apply for pilot jobs, do they ever ask for your year 12 math results?
I am doing year 12 at the moment and I'm not scoring very high.
Jobs from airlines like cathay etc.

Short answer... Yes.

Have a look at the airline websites that interest you, go to 'Careers', Flight Crew or pilot jobs is usually an option to click on and should direct you to their High School minimums.

The legacy carriers (CX, QF, BA) usually specify Maths and sometimes Physics. Good luck!!

Also I'm not sure how it works in Victoria, but in NSW the minimum maths course QF would consider when I was in high school in the mid 80's was 3 unit maths. 2 unit general, ie vegi maths wasn't acceptable.

My suggestion if you are struggling is to get a maths coach ASAP. :ok:

Yeaaahh, im doing my year 12 at the moment aswell  BUTTT in Blighty :ok:.

Over here, I'm doing my As levels, i don't know what your equal is. From what i've learnt, these exams you do this year, are more important than next year (my A2's) as they are an indication of what your likely to do in year 13. So if uni, or airlines are going to look at any of your records then its going to be your year 12 results.

Don't work, its not too late just yet:}, just get a maths tutor, and you'll be finee:ok:
