Helideck Orientation on a N Sea Platform

I wonder if you guys might be able to comment on something that might improve the safety of pilots and passengers. A new oil and gas platform is in the early stages of design for the middle of the central North Sea, lets call it the Bonkers Platform. The management have decided to put the helideck on the NW face of the platform and the main platform gas vent on a boom on the SW face of the platform, despite the prevailing wind direction. On this forum I notice a postings that modern platforms are usually safer with the helideck on a W or SW corner and the CAA guidance seems to prefer the S corner and vents downwind. I just wondered if there are any strong views I can put in front of Bonkers management from you kind folk or if there are good reference docs I can use. Many thanks.

On the off chance I fly to it may I ask the following:

No huge exhaust stacks beside or underneath the helideck.
No life boat stations below or beside the helideck.
Minimum amount of turbulence creating structure around helideck.
