Can anyone advise how Thomson crew their flights to Boa Vista or Sal. The total return trip is well over 12 hours?

how much over.... 12 hours isn't the max duty for a 2 sector day. My previous company used to do it as a there and back....

The CAA can apply an alleviation to the Flight Time Limitations - it normally includes a rest day before and after the duty . . . . this may be the case . . .
TOM crew overnight in Cape Verde, they don't fly there and back.

I believe they crew a BVC leg outbound, have a couple of days on Boa Vista, position over to SID on local carrier, then fly the return SID back to the UK....or vice versa.
At least, that's what happened last year.
