Hello I'm hoping someone can give me a bit of info on a Fokker F27 airframe at EDI. The F27 is gutted and looking rather sad on the northern fenceline near to where some biz jets frequently park up on runway 30. No registration is visible, it's blue and has "Channel" on the port side. I travel past it every weekend on the train from Edinburgh and curious about the history of this aircraft. Thanks in advance,

Skilly

A google search of 'FOKKER F27 DUMPED EDINBURGH' revealed details regarding TC-MBG. A further search of the reg TC- MBG and a click on 'images' reveals a blue F27.... a further search of the reg reveals a DoT accident report dated 2008 - could this be it...

Google is your friend.....

Indeed that's the aircraft. Completely stripped to the bare bones now.
Thanks
