Hi,

Was hoping on some advice on how to get into an "IR/NVG" job. (Worldwide)
Not offshore mainly, but more SAR, Police or HEMS work.

Most companies wants you to have previous IFR experience, night / NVG time before they consider you. But where to get it?

I have been working onshore utility for approx 6 years, mainly precision longline flying the AS350 series. With no former ifr/nvg experience.

I've got approx 2000 hrs TT, hold FAA, Transport Canada & JAA CPL/IR-H.
(Also completed the JAA ATPL written exams)

I speak Scandinavian & English fluently and Portuguese at a medium level.

Hoping to get some info on possibilities. :)

:) Trust me I enjoy the job sector I am in, but......
I paid for a "cheap" IR-H, which I would like to use a little bit eventually.
NVG and night flying as well.. :ok:
