Hi i have a question to the Norwegian pilots out there.

I am newbie pilot with my FAA CPL ME/IR and have passed the Atpl Written exams in Norway and now i wish to go to Sweden to the practical flying part and this should be ok in accordance with JAR-FCL 1.065 b.

But the catch is that you need an agreement between the two member states.

Most likely Swedish CAA will approve my ATPL exams but the Norwegian CAA wont give the sign off.

But has this been done before on fixed wing and who should i talk to get the approval from Norwegian CAA ?

When I got mine transferred, I sent my request to the other state's caa, and then they requested my exam info from Norway-CAA themselves. That worked.

If you contact Norway-CAA directly I've heard it will depend on which person you talk to. A lot of people have been able to transfer their exams, so don't give up just because you get a no from someone. These days the cost of doing the flying portion of the conversion in Norway is insane.
