Hi

If I apply for selection would there be any choice on base?

Would it be KUL or BKK or elsewhere?

Also what are my chances of DEC with 9000hrs TT and say 4000 in heavy Boeing (but no command time).

PILOTS WITH VALID FOREIGN ICAO ATPL.
A MINIMUM TOTAL hours 6000 of which shall include:

At least 2500 hours (Airline Operational) MULTI PILOT JET ONLY (EFIS/FMS) above 20,000 kgs
Age limit : Minimum 26 years, Maximum 60 years

Kuching seems to be where most new joiners are based. Chance to bid out after about 6 months. I don't work for Air Asia but I am in a not dissimilar situation to yourself so have been doing a bit of homework.

Interview process as follows:



· Day 1 – Introduction & Assesment@1000 hrs

· Day 2 – Interview @1000 hrs

· Day 3 – Simulator check ride @ 1000 hrs
