Manchester and Inbound Delays

Folks,

I happened to glance at one of the radar websites on Sunday evening around 9, and noticed about 6 in the hold at DAYNE. Is this normal on a Sunday at this time? I thought that two-runway ops would be more than able to cope. or were they down to a single runway?

23R/05L is closed during the night and has been for quite a while due to work. When landing 23L they have to backtrack so it can cause quite a few delays at peak times.
